Highlight Your Community Impact

Independent insurance agents do more than protect businesses and families. They serve, lead, and strengthen the communities they call home. If you or someone you know has gone above and beyond over the past year to make a meaningful difference, now is the time to be recognized. Nominations are officially open for the Dan Fulwider Award for Community Service, and applications will be accepted through March 13, 2026.
Honoring Service That Makes an Impact
The Dan Fulwider Award recognizes independent insurance agents who demonstrate exceptional commitment to community service. Whether through volunteer work, charitable leadership, local advocacy, or hands-on involvement with nonprofit organizations, this award celebrates those who embody the true spirit of service.
Our industry is built on relationships and trust. Agents who dedicate their time and resources to strengthening their communities represent the very best of the independent agency system.
National Recognition and Meaningful Giving
The recipient of the Dan Fulwider Award will be invited to attend the 2026 Big “I” Legislative Conference in Washington, D.C., where they will be recognized on Friday, April 24.
In addition to national recognition, the Big “I” will make a $3,000 donation to the winner’s charity of choice, further amplifying the positive impact already being made in their community.
Submit a Nomination
You may nominate yourself or an industry colleague who has demonstrated outstanding community involvement over the past year. If someone in your agency or network is quietly making a difference, this is the opportunity to shine a light on their efforts.
